We have sat on the other side of the desk.
Atlas Crest is a Florida insurance services firm built around premium audit work. We spend our days in payroll records, class codes, and certificates of insurance — the documents that decide what a policy is worth and what a business ends up paying.
That experience runs in one direction and then the other. For carriers, MGAs, and vendor networks, we conduct the audits and inspections that determine exposure. For businesses, we prepare the records those audits examine, and keep the subcontractor file current so an uninsured job never becomes their payroll.
Knowing what gets charged is the whole advantage. A file that looks complete and a file that survives an audit are two different files, and we can tell them apart because we have written the findings ourselves.

How the firm runs
We run our own back office on software we built for it. Documents are read and filed within minutes of arriving, every open item carries a follow-up date, and nothing closes until the file is complete.
The judgment calls stay with a person. Whether a certificate genuinely covers the work, how a class applies to an operation that does three things at once — those are decided by someone who has done the audit, not by a rule in a system.
